I have been involved in public service for over 30 years. I am currently employed as the Director of Fire Services for the Moorestown Township Fire District and serve as the Administrator for the Board of Fire Commissioners. I have previously worked for the Moorestown Police Department in communications and have a background in finance. Prior to my public service years, I worked in the Banking and Brokerage industry.

My wife, and biggest supporter, Cindi “Cinder” Knobbs and I have been married for 30 years. Together we have four children and nine grandchildren. Our son, Lawrence “Bubba” Di Fabio is a police officer in Toms River NJ and serves as the Lt-at Arms for the Jersey Central Chapter.

I joined the Defenders in 2009 for the brotherhood and camaraderie. I have found so much more, and consider the members as my family. I’m a Life member, and have been a Defender since 2009. I was a charter member of South Jersey One, and I am a charter member of my current chapter, Jersey Central. I had held the Major position since the Jersey Central Chapter was formed in 2011. I enjoy traveling to various Defender events to share in the brotherhood. I was told a long time ago, and still believe to this day, if you call someone your brother, you would trust them with your wife and family and the keys to your home and vehicles. I say, if you are passing through, stop on by and if we aren’t home, I’ll tell you how to get in. I have always promoted the brotherhood of the Defenders, and will continue to build relationships between chapters and members throughout the club. I am always available to any member or chapter to assist when needed.
